Expanding access to clean water infrastructure, safe sanitation facilities and community hygiene education to prevent disease and improve living conditions in the communities we serve.
Access to clean water and safe sanitation is a basic human right — yet many rural Ugandan communities still rely on unsafe water sources and lack proper latrines. Our WASH Programme changes this by drilling boreholes, rehabilitating wells, and constructing community latrines and handwashing stations. Just as importantly, we deliver hygiene education on handwashing, safe water storage, and menstrual hygiene management. These combined efforts dramatically reduce waterborne disease, keep children in school, and give women back hours previously spent fetching water.
